MAXIM A. CLUKEY Prayers were said at St. Anne's Catholic Church at Dexter Tuesday morning, August 15, by the Rev. Napoleon Madore for Maxim A. Clukey, 33, who died Sunday at the Togus Veterans' Hospital where he had been a patient for three months. Burial took place Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A funeral Mass was held Wednesday morning for the deceased. He was born at Dexter, July 14, 1928, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Clukey. He was graduated from Dexter High School and served with the armed forces until his discharge due to ill health. He had been employed at Beverly, Mass., but for several months prior to entering Togus he was a patient at a Massachusetts hospital. Besides his parents of Dexter, he is survived by three brothers, Nathan of Dexter, Durwood of Bangor and Harry of Westbrook; two sisters, Arline Clukey of Bangor and Mrs. Virginia Morrison of Roxbury, Mass., several nieces and nephews.
