LAWRENCE CLUKEY Lawrence E. Clukey, 53, died unexpectedly at his home in Terryville, Conn., on May 10. He was born in Dexter, July 9, 1916, the son of Arthur and Nellie (Mountain) Clukey. He attended Dexter schools, and had been employed for the past several years in a Unionville, Conn. woolen mill. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Blandine (Jackson) Clukey of Terryville; his mother of Dexter; five children, Mrs. Lawrence (Brenda) McDonald of Orrington, Mrs. Elmer (Bonita) Carter of East Holden, and Betty of Terryville, Conn.; Arthur P. Clukey of Presque Isle and Lawrence Jr., serving in Vietnam; two sisters, Mrs. John (Stata) Maskaitis of Terryville and Mrs. William (Marie) Smith of Dexter; two brothers, Justin of Charleston, and Richard of Terryville; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Crosby funeral Home in Dexter.
