RICHARD MCKENNEY DEXTER - Richard McKenney, 67, died unexpectedly in Corinna, May 7, 1988. He was born in Corinna, March 25, 1921, the son of B. Pratt and Sadie (Seavey) McKenney. He graduated from Corinna Union Academy, Class of 1939, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a machinist at Fay Scott for many years until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of I.A.M. Local No. 1696, Dexter. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Doris (White) McKenney of Dexter; one son, Gaylen P. McKenney of Corinna; one sister, Mrs. Carlton (Olive) Thrasher of Cape Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Richard L. McKenney of Portland and Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Mossey of Newport; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Monday at Crosby Funeral Chapel, Exeter Road, Corinna where funeral services were held Tuesday, with Pastor George Wardwell of the Morses Corner Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
