A Drowning Accident. Delbert Clukey, the nine-year-old son of Charles Clukey of North Dexter, was drowned last Thursday evening about six o'clock. It seems he with another little boy went out fishing in the pond and fell off a log into the water. He did not arise and his companion gave the alarm but it was too late to save him. The body was recovered about a half hour later. He was the only son and it is a sad blow to the parents who have the sympathy of all in their great affliction. The funeral services were held in St. Ann's church in this village Saturday morning, Father Houlihan officiating. The interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
